Part Time Prep/line cook 20 hrs (Must be 18+)

Line Cook 3-5 years experience required

Reports to: Sous Chef

Job Summary:

Implementation of menu through daily kitchen functions including preparation and maintenance of quality standards, sanitation, and cleanliness, as well as, portioning, cooking, and presenting of menu items.

  • Customer Service: Must interact with the general public in a way that inspires them to recommend our establishment to their friends. That includes providing a warm welcome, asking about their dining experience and showing interest in their concerns. Great customer service must extend to internal customers (employees) and suppliers (vendors) also. 
  • Cost Control: Assists in monitoring waste and proper maintenance to ensure that the restaurant remains profitable.
  • Food Safety: Abides by food safety requirements by following FIFO inventory and proper food preparation.
  • Detail Orientation: Maintaining a clean environment and adhering to food presentation and quality standards. 
  • Kitchen Functions:
    • Setup/Breakdown the line each day. 
    • Maintain the line during business operations.
    • Ensuring that all food and products have been consistently prepped according to written recipes. 
    • Portioning, cooking, and serving menu items meeting or exceeding company standards. 
    • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
    • Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes
    • Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
    • Using kitchen knives and equipment such as grills, ovens, steamers, and warmers in food preparation
    • Working with counter staff to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
    • Keeping the workstation and kitchen equipment clean, organized, and sanitized
    • Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts 
    • Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Part Time Cook 20 hrs (Must be 18+)

Prep Cook 3-5 years experience required

Reports to: Sous Chef

    • Assisting line, Sous, and Executive Chefs with daily tasks. Completing them in order, and on time.
    •  Labeling and stocking ingredients
    • Washing, chopping, sorting produce, meats etc.
    • Parboiling food, and starting first steps of all menu items
    • Cleaning dishes, washing cooking utensils, and cookware
    • Taking out trash, general cleaning, and sanitizing kitchen
    • Notification to management if inventory is low on any given item

Team Member: 18+

-PT/FT Dayshift

-3 years food service experience and excellent customer service

-Scoop, serve, stock ice cream

-Able to lift 50 lbs

Sudsbuster (dishwasher) 

-PT/FT Dayshift with some evenings

-dish technician with 1-3 years restaurant experience 

-needs to maintain high standard cleanliness

-knife skills preferred but not required

-able to lift 50 lbs
